Categorized by bottle size

① The bottle has a small mouth. This is a glass bottle with an inner diameter of less than 20mm. It is mainly used for packaging liquid materials such as soda and beer.

② Large bottle mouth. Also known as canning jars, the inside diameter of the mouth is greater than 30mm, the neck and shoulders are shorter, and the shoulder of the bottle is flat, mostly canned or cup shaped. Because of their larger mouths, bottles are easier to load and unload and are often used to package canned foods and sticky materials.

Sort by bottle geometry

① Round bottle. Bottles with a round cross-section are the most widely used high-strength bottles.

② Square bottle. The cross-section of the bottle is square. These bottles are less strong than round bottles and are more difficult to manufacture, so they are used less often.

(iii) Curved bottle. Although circular in cross-section, it is curved in the height direction. It is concave and convex, such as vase type and gourd type. It has a novel form and is very popular among users.

④ Oval shaped bottle. Oval in cross-section, it has a smaller capacity, but it has a unique shape and users like it.

Classification according to use

① Alcohol bottles. Alcohol is produced in very large quantities, almost entirely in glass bottles, chiefly in round bottles.

② Everyday packaging glass bottles. Usually used for packaging various daily commodities, such as cosmetics, ink, glue and so on. Due to the wide variety of commodities, the shape and sealing of the bottles vary.

(iii) Canning jars. A wide variety of canned food, large production, and therefore self-sufficient. Multi-purpose wide-mouth jars, the capacity is generally 0.2 ~ 0.5L.

④Pharmaceutical bottles. These are glass bottles used for packaging medicines. There are brown cuff bottles with a capacity of 10 to 200 mL, infusion bottles with a capacity of 100 to 1,000 mL, and fully sealed bottles for chemical reagents. They are used for packaging various chemical reagents, and the capacity is generally 250 to 1200mL.
